Some people grow up with one language, one culture, one way of seeing the world. I grew up with a curiosity that kept pushing me further, across borders, into conversations I wasn’t fully equipped for yet, and through situations where language wasn’t just useful. It was essential.

That curiosity never stopped. It took me across continents, into communities, and through experiences that shaped not just how I speak but how I listen, how I read a room, and how I understand what people really mean when words alone aren’t enough.

Language, I discovered, is never just grammar. It’s trust. It’s tone. It’s knowing when to be direct and when to read between the lines. It’s the difference between a deal that closes and one that quietly falls apart.

I am a native Dutch speaker with full professional fluency in English and a career built at the intersection of language, culture, and communication.

I work with international companies, corporate teams, and individual professionals who want to show up with confidence in English and Dutch. Whether that’s in client meetings, cross-border negotiations, internal communications, or on the world stage.

My approach is never one-size-fits-all. Before I design any training or take on any translation project, I want to understand your world. Your industry, your clients, your challenges, your ambitions. Because the language you need is specific to the work you do.

When I’m not working with corporate clients, you’ll find me writing about the world, its people, its places, and the stories that live between languages. My travel writing project, In the World’s Jungle, reflects the same belief that drives my professional work: that real understanding only comes when you step outside the familiar.

That perspective is what makes my training different. I don’t just teach language. I help people navigate the human side of international business, the cultural confidence that turns competent communicators into truly compelling ones.
